What Video Formats are Supported?

We recommend using '.mp4' (MPEG Layer 4) as it is the most commonly used video format today. Videos uploads are currently limited to 15 mins and 1GB

We generally support most commonly used video formats.  If certain formats are not being uploaded correctly, please contact support.

If you try to use other video file formats such as Audio Video Interleave (.avi), Matroska Multimedia Center (.mkv), and so on.  A message will pop up telling you that the upload failed. 

However, if you upload a file that is supported by Nixplay Signage different message will pop-up telling you the progress of your video.

When your video is uploaded, you can now see on the folder you uploaded it to and later on you can add it to your playlist.
