It could be that your files are of different sizes.
If there is a collection of photographs taken from different sources with different file sizes, for example 41 kb, 46kb, 491kb, 78kb, 72kb, the difference in file size can affect the slideshow playback.
For example, if you have 2 photos play on the frame – file size 41kb, then file size 46 kb, they might well play according to a 3-second transition. But if the next photo in the collection is 491 kb, the processor might need a little more time to catch up and process this photo as it is significantly larger. This can cause an inconsistency in the slideshow time.
If you had an entire collection and each photo was the same, eg 60 kb, the slideshow would transition more effectively and without pauses, as the processor is not prone to a sudden change in command.
So you could consider resizing all the photos the same (kb) file size, or if you don’t necessarily need the slideshow duration to be 3 seconds, you could slow it down to something that the processor will better handle (ie 15 seconds).
How to do it:
Most likely the photo is too large in resolution and DPI for the frames processor to handle. The resolution of this frame is (Your Frame Resolution) with a DPI of 72, so if you have a photo on there that is 3500 x 1500 for example with a DPI of 300, it will stop, freeze, pixelate or skip the photo altogether. Please double-check the contents and make sure there are only JPEG photos on the card or memory and the files are named logically without unnecessary periods, underscores and symbols.
