How to Play Vimeo Videos on your Signage Displays

These steps will outline the process in which a signage user can follow if ever they want to play Vimeo videos in their signage displays. This is done using the Web/Media Application

Note: This will only show the video and not the entire Vimeo website. This is because we are going to use the player link instead of the entire webpage link.

• First step is to get the Vimeo link that you want to play in your display, you can do this by clicking on the Share button from the video (see below)

• Once you clicked on this button, you should get a pop-up box with options on how you want to share (see below)

• From this, you want to copy the one from the Embed option. 
  • It would look like this - <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/592798309?h=776d72a5ed&color=e700ef" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

• From this link, you just want to get part of the link, which is this part only -  https://player.vimeo.com/video/592798309?
• Once you have this link, you can now use this and enter in the Web/Media link application
• Create an App in your Signage solution, using the Web/Media Link.
  • Assign a name to that Application
  • Then paste the link that you got from the Share link of the Vimeo video
  • Then add this autoplay=1 (shown below) - so the video will play automatically on your display.

• Once you've created this application. You should be able to assign this to a campaign and assign it in a display.
• You can add more Vimeo videos in the timeline - you just need to recreate the above steps.
